3rd annual Girls Weekend

So we had our family 3rd annual Girls Weekend this past weekend. It was sooo much fun!! It was nice to have so many people there. Especially my 2 cousins Fiance & Girlfriend. We got to kind of induct them into the family!! Let's hope they don't go running & screaming in the other direction now!! LOL!!! We went shopping because it is our favorite family pass time. We went to see New Moon!! Then we had a Skipbo tournament because games are another family pass time. I don't know about everyone else but I had a GREAT time!! I laughed almost non stop from 9pm Saturday until 3 am sunday morning then woke up & laughed about the same stuff some more!! I laughed so much my stomach muscles were sore the next day!!! GOOD times!!! I can't wait until next time!!!

Halloween!! This one's for you mom!!!

So my mom calls the Monday after Halloween to ask me when I'm going to post the pics of the kids on my blog!! This was the 1st Halloween where she didn't get to see them in costume. We did our usual stuff for Halloween this year it was the 4th annual Halloween celebration @ the Warren's. We all got together & ate then we took all the kiddos out to trick or treat & after that we came back to the house & the kids played while the adults hung out & talked!! It was fun as always!!! Jailyns first slumber party

Well my baby girl will be 8 yrs old on Wednesday and she wanted to have a slumber party for her 8th b-day. Since we don't really use our living room & we don't have carpet so we did it at my mom's house. Bonnie stayed & helped me with the girls. They all seemed to have a good time & Jailyn really loved it!! Here are some pics!!

Hi Ho Hi Ho it's off to work I go...

So it is official!! My fingerprints have cleared & I am now ready to work!! I just got the call this morning from my supervisor that they want me to start on Monday!! Right now it's only Monday, Wednesday & Friday but I'm hoping to be placed on a Tuesday, Thursday case soon!! As most of you know I've been looking for a job since August & had been applying like crazy for anything that I qualified for. However a few of the things I applied for did not work with my schedule & would require me to put BOTH of the kids in after school care & at over $1000.00 for aftercare for both that was just out of the question. I finally went back to SELPA where I worked before Marcus was born. They were able to start me at what I was making when I left & give me the hours & days that I wanted. So I start on Monday ! I am just sooo glad that all the waiting & wondering is finally over. It was driving me CRAZY not knowing what I was going to be doing from 1 day to the next!! I'm not thrilled that I have to go back to work but at least it's only when the kids are at school so I won't be missing much!! Once we get into a routine things will be GREAT!!! I'm sooo relieved! As most of you know I don't stress out easily but these past few months have really been wearing on my nerves. Sooo glad it's over!!

Soccer pics!!!

SO this one is mostly just pics. They kids are both playing soccer this season so that means double the games for me on Saturdays!! YAY!!! Especially in this heat lately it's been tough!! They are both really loving it & having fun so I guess that's all that matters. Jailyn scored 2 goals @ her last game & Marcus scored 3 goals in his 1st game & 1 in his last game. So here are some pics I took of them before Marcus' first game!!

She Really likes 2nd grade so far!! She LOVES her teacher!! She's very cool & has an awesome approach to teaching. She is very into letting the kids figure things out for themselves & being independent thinkers. I'm really looking forward to seeing how much she will learn this year. BYE BYE SUMMER.....

Well summer is officially OVER!! Well for Jailyn at least!! SHe started 2nd grade today!! It is a little bitter sweet actually!! I'm definitely enjoying not having to listen to the kids fight & tell me they are bored every 5 mins. but I'm not thrilled about having to get up & get ready early in the AM. Well we did some fun stuff in our last few days of summer. Here are the pics!!!

We went to the Discovery Science Center in Santa Ana. They have a new dinosaur exhibit that the kids were really excited about especially Marcus!!

We also went to the La Habra Childrens Museum. It's an all hands on museum for kids!! We went with friends & the kids had ALOT of fun!!!

We also made one last beach trip!! It was one of the nights when it was SUPER HOT & my mom doesn't have A/C so we went after dinner down to the beach for like an hour to cool off & let the kids play!! It was right around sunset so the lighting was cool I got ALOT of really cute pics but I only have room for 2 SORRY!!!

We also spent a weekend in Temecula hanging out with the family!! we stayed at my Aunt Debby's house. We went swimming & hung out!! It was a nice little vacay. The kids swam like fishes especially Jailyn but Marcus was doing really well!!!
