Brunch, Play & Bikes!!!!!

ok so this is going to be a little bit of a long one!! Lot's of pics!!! So we went down to the Paradise Pier Hotel down by Disney land for their character brunch. It was a TON of fun!! Not something you can do all the time cuz it's pricey but fun for a special occasion!! Marcus loved all the characters especially Pluto & Stitch. Jailyn on the other hand was being all dumb & acting like she was scared of all the boy characters. She eventually got over it though!! Got some really good pics!!!

Up next is the pics from the latest play Jailyn was in. It was Honk the story of the ugly duckling. It was super cute!!! She of course had tons of fun!! She had a voiceover part so she wasn't speaking on stage but her ensemble/group parts were ALOT bigger this time! She had 5 coustume changes this time!! She was out there alot!!

And last but most definitely not least is our new bikes!!!! I've been asking for a beach cruiser for MONTHS & I finally got one!!! Actually we all got new bikes!!! Marcus was the only one of us that had one but his was too small for him so we all got new ones. JR, Jailyn & I got beach cruisers from this guy brand new for a great deal!! We got all 3 bikes for the price of 1 from the stores!!! Marcus is too small for a cruiser so we got him a tony hawk bike from Toy's R Us. We all named our bikes. Keep in mind the kids picked their own names!!

Good Times w/ GREAT friends!!!!!

On Saturday July 18th my best friend Becky turned 29!!! So to celebrate we all went to their house & ate , talked made smores over the fire pit & most of all LAUGHED!!! It was soo much fun to just sit back & talk about old times. It's hard to believe but Becky & I have been friends for 15 years which is more than 1/2 our lives!! There are soo many memories in those 15 years & we were reminded of ALOT of them!! So here's to Great friends & laughing until you're crying!! I love you all!! BBN & JMR forever!!!

4th of july

I know it's a little late but I get lazy about uploading my pics sometimes. So this year the kids & I did a mellow & relaxed 4th. Every year for the past few years we've gone to a friends house and there are soo many people it's hard to keep track of the kids & when the fireworks start it's like a war zone!!! So this year when we got the chance to go to temecula & hang out with my family I jumped at it!! We had a good time the kids got to swim in the spa & play on the slip & slide. We ate then we all walked up to see the fireworks. Here are a few of the pics!

"Hanging out @ the beach"....

So we went to Seal Beach yesterday & had soooo much fun!!! My Mom took the day off work & came with us, Bonnie came & our friend Timmi came with her girls Penny & Leilani. The kids played all day long!! Jailyn & Penny hardly left the water. Leilani & marcus played together in the sand & right @ the waters edge. The waves were about 3 feet but they were breaking really close to the shore so the kids were getting knocked down ALOT!! The best part of the day though was when Bonnie, Timmi & I went out into the water. I haven't played out in the ocean in YEARS!!!!! The funniest part was when after the 2nd wave knocked me down I stood up facing everyone out in the water laughing because I got knocked down, not realizing that bonnie & timmi were laughing because my bathing suit came down & my boob was showing!!! We all laughed soooo hard!! Then a little while later a guy walked by & said to me "Just hanging out @ the beach today?" Meaning my boob!!! It was a GREAT day!! I haven't laughed that much in a looong time!! My Mom, Bonnie, Jailyn & I all got sunburned but it was worth it!!!

Loved Ones Day

Jailyn had Loved Ones Day @ school today.  Instead of celebrating Mothers day & Fathers day separately they combine them.  Every ones Family is allowed to come eat lunch & play at recess with them.  It was cool.  My mom showed up too & we all eat our lunch then they played.  JR played tether ball & hopscotch!!  Here are the pics!!  ENJOY!!

I recently received this in an email and usually I just delete ones like this and move on but some of the things in here really hit home for me.  They are things I already believe and do everyday or they made me stop & say I should try to do that. My favorites are: #'s1,2,3,11,18,20,26,29,33,34,38 & 46 which if you ask Jailyn I told her this one day when she asked why we call some of the people in her life that aren't her blood relatives "Auntie" & "uncle", because they are the special part of our family the part we get to choose & we love them for who they are not just because they are our blood. It's one of my favorite mottos! Well take from this what you will & feel free to share your favorites!!
