HI!!!!

Hi everyone!!!  I just wanted to start my blog off today with a question.  Who does the attitude portrayed in this picture remind you of JR or Me?

JR right?  I tell him all the time the kids get their stubborn, smart a**, pain in the butt personalities from him!! :)  But for some reason he doesn't believe me!!  I wonder why? ;)

That picture just cracked me up when I saw it on my camera.  I was trying to get one of him swinging and missed it my camera was too slow, but I have to say this one tops any swing picture I would have captured!!!!

This week has been both Busy and quite pleasant!!  Busy because both of the kids are in day camps this week( Jailyn gymnastics and marcus bible) which means they both have to be up and ready to go by 8:15AM which in turn means I have to be up and ready by 8:15 AM and to be quite honest I have REALLY been enjoying this sleeping in during the summer deal!!!!  Most days I don't even wake up until 9AM (thankfully Jailyn has learned how to heat up a few things for breakfast for her and her brother she's quite handy that way).  However on the other hand this week has been quite enjoyable because BOTH OF MY KIDS ARE IN DAY CAMP THIS WEEK!!!  That means that from 9 am when I drop Jailyn off until 12:30 when Marcus gets dropped off I HAVE NO CHILDREN!!!  Unless you count the 35 year old one that has been ENDLESSLY playing Grand Theft Auto for 2 months now!!!  I swear I want to pull my hair out sometimes!!!!

Moving on.....so you might ask how have I spent my blissful child free time and the answer is...reading on Monday and today we cleaned out the garage!!  Exciting stuff huh?  Oh what my life has become:)  But we all know I wouldn't have it any other way except of course maybe without the Stupid video game:)

Changes!!!

I changed my blog background!!  I love it!!!  Now you can see my multi colored posts much better!!  I also have some more pics!!  Enjoy!!!

Sorry it's been awhile..

 ..our computer was being weird so we had to take it in to have the hard drive repaired.  It's only 3 weeks old!!!  So where to being we've had a pretty cool summer so far although all the camps and classes start in the next couple of weeks and I go back to being busy taxi driver again.  I complain but I wouldn't have it any other way!!!  I was just thinking the other day how lucky I have been to be able to stay home with the kids since Marcus was born!!  I've gotten to be the first to see all the little milestones with him that I didn't get to with Jailyn!!!  So let me start to catch you up...

Our trip to palm Springs!!!!  Very fun!!  We went just for a couple of days but it was perfect!!  I got to go to the spa 2 times and JR got to golf 2 times and the kids they just went swimming ALOT!!  It was HOT!!!  But still alot of fun and nice to just relax and hang with friends and family.  

 

Let's see what else?  Oh we are now members at the Santa Ana Zoo, which I know doesn't sound like much but we get in free there and other small zoo's around here and we get 50% off at the LA zoo.  It will be fun to just go for a little while and et lunch see a few animals ride the train and go home.  So if anyone is going to the zoo let us know and we'll join you!  We went for the sunset at the zoo they do train rides and they have music and arts and crafts for the kids and you pack a picnic and go.  It was a nice quiet evening!!!  Marcus was antagonizing a Lama and I swear that lama wanted to spit on him!!!  It was funny!!!

We have started some classes!  Jailyn has started her ballet again as well as Hula which she really loves!!  I hope she can keep doing it but it all depends on what her soccer schedule is going to be.  Marcus started his Pee Wee baseball class through park and rec and a Preschool prep class through Gymboree.  He liked the baseball class but started to get distracted 1/2 way through and kept trying to sneek away and play on the playground.  His preschool class though he really loved it was nice to be able to drop him off even if it was only for 2 hours..  He did good though and can't wait to go back!  THANKS CHELS!!!
